"Home is not only a place, but also a feeling."
It's been a long time since I have felt at home. Many years of longing for a place to belong, a place to feel free, at ease, and tranquil. I had a beautiful life in a gorgeous house but in a place I wasn't happy. I made the best of it but desired a change. A change that would come naturally without us forcing the circumstances and would benefit our family in the long run, without causing chaos.
A fork in the road of life, some months ago, created the opportunity for us to take a different path. A new path that unexpectedly led us on a new road towards home. It hasn't been all smooth, as roads seldom are. It's been a long winding road and we've encountered bumps and blocks along the way, but we are nearing the end.
We have found home! A peaceful and restful place full of charm and beauty. A calm retreat to live our daily lives. A place full of love and history with many blank pages left for us to write ours. Welcome to My Yellow Farmhouse!
