I’m not sure how summer flew by so quickly but, ready or not, autumn has arrived. The days are still hot but the mornings and evenings are getting cooler. I do believe the scent of autumn is in the air. I can smell it the moment I step outside.
You know autumn has arrived when the stores are full of colorful mums and pumpkins. I wasn’t prepared to decorate for the new season quite yet, but I couldn’t help myself when I came across these beautiful fresh mums one breezy sunny day. I filled up the car and headed home eager to display them on my front porch.
I love the warmth and feel that these colors have brought to my home. The front porch is inviting and cozy. I'm ready to spend the next season snuggled in the swing or rocker with a good book or magazine.
